I have visited this site before, but this was thefirst account that I’ve created and the variety of sites that it encompasses is fairly inspiring. I added tags to subjects from politics to crafts to our local history association.
I can definitely see the potential for this in a library setting, especially with it’s potential to create networks and share interesting links with other library professionals. Similarly, I can easily see that this will be a standard link to library websites within the next few years which might allow a greater number of users to access our online resources. There are probably other ways in which people can utilise this technology, which I will keep in mind as I familiarise myself with the site.
